Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadoria has become the new Chief of the Air Force. He took over from 30 September. He served as Air Chief Marshal he Replaced Mr.Dhanoa, B.S. Dhanoa has retired on 30 September.

Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadoria was commissioned in the Indian Air Force on 15 June 1980. He held several positions during his tenure, leading to Commandant of National Defense Academy, Senior Air Staff Officer in Central Air Command. He served as Deputy Chief of Air Staff from January 2016 to February 28, 2017 , Deputy Chief of Air Staff. Between March 2017 to August 2018, he served as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command before becoming the Chief of the Air Force, he was the Deputy Chief of the Indian Air Force.
