Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets Seoul Peace Award


Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets the ‘Seoul Peace Award ‘ for international cooperation in South Korea. During the address on this occasion, the PM said that this award has only received by me. I accept this award in behalf of the people of India. I dedicate this award to the people of the country, who gave me the opportunity of service. I am proud that I have received this award at such times when we are celebrating Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary. I dedicate the Seoul Peace Prize Rs. One million thirty lakh rupees to the project that cleanses the Ganga River, Namami Gange.

PM Modi said that extremism and terrorism have become a global problem today. It is the biggest threat to the peace and security of the whole world. It is now time that those who believe in humanity come together to counter terrorism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the story of development of India is not only good for us but also beneficial for the whole world. He said that India is playing an active role in the global war against climate change. We have conducted successful operations not only to save our people but also to the citizens of different countries in the conflict areas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the Indian community in South Korea’s Seoul said that we are the fastest growing economy in the world today. The whole world is looking forward to India. Our economy has been consistently strong. PM said that in the next few years, India is rapidly stepping up to join the economy of 5 trillion.

PM said that when I assumed office in 2014, we were at the 11th position, now on sixth and being five will not take long. He said that India will be in the top three in the next one and a half decade. PM Modi said that we have stepped up the cashless economy firmly. In the case of doing, we have made a 62-point jump. The world was surprised at it. The World Bank chairman had called me for this and congratulated.
